PhotoPlus Expo 2017 Vlog (Sony a7R III, Nikon D850, Guests & More!)

I vlog the entire PhotoPlus Expo 2017 from New York City. I was able to get hands on with the Sony a7R III, Nikon D850, Sigma 16mm 1.4, Fuji 80mm 2.8 Macro and much more. I had more goals to hit like the new Peak Design black backpack and more. It was crazy to see Sony take over Nikons usual spot as well. Special guest appearance by Jared Polin, FroKnowsPhoto. Thanks for any viewer for stopping me to say hi, it was awesome to meet in person! What were some of your favorite parts of PhotoPlus 2017?

Sigma 16mm f/1.4 Hands On First Impressions: PhotoPlus 2017

I get a quick hands on first impressions with the Sigma 16mm f/1.4 for Sony and Micro 4/3rds cameras. This is a pre-production model so I wasn't able to take photos with it. But its important to cover and wanted to shine some spotlight on it. The lens was super lightweight for being an f1.4 and was actually pretty tiny. There is no news on its price or announce date yet, the guy hinted to it being a few weeks away. So we will see, but if the price is right, it will easily sell.

Fuji XF 80mm f/2.8 Macro Hands On First Impressions: PhotoPlus 2017

I got hands on with the new Fuji XF 80mm f2.8 macro lens. This is going to do very well for Fuji on their x mount line of cameras, updating an older 90mm lens. This new macro will be about 120mm due to the crop factor, has OIS and will cost $1,200 bucks. It's coming out in November, so stay tuned. I have this set to be on loaner so we can do a full review. If you own a Fuji, is this a lens that interests you?

Sony a7R III Hands On First Impressions: PhotoPlus 2017

I got a quick hands on with the Sony a7R III at PhotoPlus 2017 in New York City. I wanted to share my first impressions using the camera at the Sony booth and having a chance to test it out for a short time with a model. The camera feels amazing, its very fast and its af speed/eye autofocus is top notch. The only downside I noticed with this quick hands on was that the screen and menu navigation wasnt fully touch enabled. That was a bit of a let down.
Stay tuned for more coverage of Photo Plus 2017, full vlog coming soon!
