About "The Eye"
ERIC ROSSI, aka TheGuyWithTheEye™, specializes in wedding, engagement, portrait and street photography. I am a Two-Time Emmy Award Winner from the MLB Network. I reside in New Jersey, right outside of New York City and have a Bachelor's Degree in TV/Film from DeSales University. My inspiration is drawn from everyday experiences that I strive to capture and make memories that last forever. As I like to say, "I'm the guy with a unique eye on life."
I became inspired when I first picked up my camera a few years ago and was able to photograph a member of a friend’s family. It turned out to be the last photo of this person and thus igniting my passion and respect for photography.
So what about the eye? Why “The Guy With The Eye™?” Well, my logo represents my right eye which has a condition called Coloboma; an irregularly shaped pupil. Watch my YouTube video to learn more!
When not out shooting, I produce photography YouTube videos for tips, tricks and tutorials to help mentor other photographers. This was a huge creative outlet for me as I'm able to share who I am as an artist. As of October 2017, the channel has surpassed 7.5 Million Views!
One of my goals in life is to collect every type of vintage camera. The process has begun and the collection has already grown to over 60 unique cameras.
Over the past few years, I have had a photo that was published of the Bacon Brothers in the Muscular Dystrophy Association Magazine. I worked on television shows such as “The Apprentice Finale”, “Shark Tank Season 4″ BillBoard Music Awards-Ludacris and NBC’s “New Years Eve with Carson Daly photographing Mariah Carey.” I was also awardedan Honorable Mention for my short documentary “Best Buddies” by the Rehoboth Film Festival 2012.
